The new Samsung Galaxy S24 will set the standard for flagship phones in 2024. The prediction is that The S24 Ultra will have a titanium frame however the base and plus models will have an aluminium armour frame. The S24 also claims to use AI for translation and enhanced search. There are also claims that the vapour chamber for the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra will be 1.5x, 1.6x, 1.9x respectively bigger than its predecessors. Bigger Vapour chambers should improve cooling and offer better sustained performance.

Comparative Analysis: S24 vs. Previous Models

The S24 similar to its predecessors will come with 8GB RAM and will have the option of either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The S24 plus will come with 12GB RAM and will have the option of either 256GB or 512GB of storage and the S24 Ultra will come with 12GB RAM and will have the option of either 512GB or 1TB of storage. However, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has been spotted on many benchmarking websites over the last couple of months and the option of 16GB RAM was listed.

Performance and Hardware Enhancements

Our prediction is that the Samsung Galaxy S24 will have a 6.2” FullHD+ 120Hz display and the S24+ & S24 Ultra will have a 6.7” and 6.8” QHD+ 120Hz display respectively. The S23 and S23 plus has a 6.1” and 6.6” display. The S24 will contain the Exynos 2400SoC and the S24+ and S24 Ultra will have an upgraded processor which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The cameras seem to be the same as last year between the line up. However, it looks like Samsung has added bigger batteries to the S24 lineup. The S24 will now contain a 4000 mAh battery with Super Fast Charging, the S24+ will now contain a 4900 mAh battery with Super Fast Charging 2.0 and the S24 Ultra will now contain a 5000 mAh battery with Super Fast Charging 2.0.

Conclusion

I do think the S24 is better that its rivals however I don’t think it is worth the upgrade if you currently have the S21, S22 or S23. I think the new S24 Phone is marginally better than its predecessors so I do not think it is worth the upgrade as of now.
